Greetings, all of you music-loving fans!! you’ve made it just in time for another Music Monday here on the website with the best new music. These highlighted articles are nicknamed “Zach’s Picks Of The Week” and they will be coming up down below in this article. However each of these so-called, “Picks” are some of the most recent articles featured on Canadian Beats Media. I can tell you from experience that there is so much more to explore on our social platforms. New music, interviews and so much more have been and will continue to be featured right here. Let’s get back to the chosen few at hand, you will be able to see a clip from each of my recommendations in this week’s video. The links to all of the articles are posted just below us. So let’s get into this new batch of incredible bands and talented musicians, here on Zach’s Picks Of The Week!

So let’s kick off this week’s recommendations with Great Lake Swimmers and the release of another video from their late album, Uncertain Country. A song called “Promise Of Spring” which is accompanied by their new video, can be seen in our article. The band also confirmed that a Deluxe Version of their album is on the way, available on September 29th. Go on and have a listen to the album and watch the video for “Promise Of Spring” right here.

Next up on our list, we have Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist Dom Hemalas, aka Elegance On a Nudist Beach. We have his latest single featured in our Interview post, it’s called “Without a Shadow Of a Doubt” and is available everywhere. Be sure to take a look at our post for this interview, plus check out the lyric video right here.

Now time for us to check in and see who’s in the Top 3 on our list. So allow me to introduce you to JEEN, who shares a blunt, drowsy new rock track with the class. It’s called “Made Me Mad” and was co-produced by her long-time collaborator, Canadian indie musician Ian Blurton. The song’s name is as straightforward as the meaning behind it, with JEEN explaining that “There was so much bad shit in the news when I wrote this last spring. Everything kept grinding me down and making me mad.” Go and listen to “Made Me Mad” in our post with the lyric video here.
Two
Well straight from their garage to Zach’s Picks Of The Week, let’s check out Trigger Mafia. A rock revival project with a bit of a modern spin, have an upcoming single dropping soon called “BARNBURNER (Hockey Song)”. All the members come from all walks of life, but together they have set out on a path to personify some of the most pressing issues in today’s world. But this new single is more of a fun quintessential hard-driving hockey anthem! You know because CANADA!! Anyway, I really encourage you to go check out our Five Questions With segment with the incredible Trigger Mafia, right here.
BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport
Now I’d like to head across the border and south to our next recommendation. This week’s featured Passport artist is New Orleans Blues artist Caroline Cotto and her triumphant new single “Bayou Sun”. You can find it available on all streaming platforms and is the title track of her upcoming album. Be sure to check out our article where you can hear the new single by the amazing Caroline Cotto right through here.
