Country music fans have plenty to look forward to as three major names prepare to take over the PlayNow Main Stage.
Nate Smith will make a highly anticipated return to Dauphin’s Countryfest after his 2026 performance was cut short by a thunderstorm. With unfinished business on the hill, Smith is ready to return in 2027 and deliver the full show fans missed out on.
Joining him are Kip Moore and Riley Green, two acclaimed country performers known for their distinctive sounds, memorable songs, and energetic live performances.
Together, the three artists set the stage for another exciting edition of the Manitoba festival, with additional performers expected to be revealed in the coming months.
Barenaked Ladies Headline Dauphin’s Countryfest 2027 Canada Day Celebration
The festival will kick off on Thursday, July 1, 2027, with a special Canada Day celebration featuring one of Canada’s most recognizable bands, Barenaked Ladies.
Known for their infectious energy, clever songwriting, and beloved hits, the Canadian group will bring a different musical flavour to the PlayNow Main Stage as festivalgoers gather to celebrate Canada’s birthday.
The Canada Day concert expands the traditional Countryfest experience, highlighting Canadian music while bringing fans together for an evening of live entertainment and national pride.
“Bringing Nate Smith back to Dauphin was important to us. Last year, the weather cut his performance short, and we know fans were looking forward to hearing more,” said Duane McMaster, president of Dauphin’s Countryfest. “We’re excited to welcome him back to finish what he started, alongside artists like Kip Moore and Riley Green. Opening our Main Stage on Canada Day with Barenaked Ladies gives us another great reason to bring people together and celebrate.”
