The Road Hammers, Darby Mills, Patricia Conroy, Travis Good, and Irvin Miller unite for a special benefit concert supporting Classroom Champions on November 13.

Known for their roaring guitars, powerful harmonies, and crowd-pleasing anthems, The Road Hammers will headline this year’s celebration.

The Canadian country-rock favourites, whose hits include “I’m a Road Hammer,” will anchor an evening featuring some of the country’s most respected musical talents.

Joining them onstage are:

  • Darby Mills – Canadian rock legend and former lead singer of The Headpins.
  • Patricia Conroy – Canadian Country Music Hall of Famer.
  • Travis Good – Acclaimed guitarist, fiddler, and co-founder of alt-country band The Sadies.
  • Irvin Miller – Rising Manitoba artist bringing his distinctive blend of blues, gospel, and traditional country.

Rather than following a traditional concert format, the evening will unfold in a radio-show-style setting, combining powerhouse performances with storytelling, spontaneous collaborations, and unscripted banter.

With artists representing multiple generations and genres of Canadian music, audiences can expect a unique experience celebrating both musical talent and the power of community.

Concert for Classrooms 2026 Supports Canadian Students

While Grey Cup weekend celebrates the excitement of Canadian football, Concert for Classrooms highlights something equally important: the life lessons that sport can teach.

Teamwork, resilience, perseverance, and striving to achieve personal goals are values that extend far beyond the football field.

Those same principles form the foundation of Classroom Champions, which connects K–8 students with Olympic, Paralympic, professional, and collegiate athlete mentors.

Through mentorship and educational programming, participating students develop confidence, strengthen their life skills, and learn to approach challenges with a positive mindset.

Since launching in 2014, Concert for Classrooms has welcomed more than 10,000 guests and raised over $2 million in support of these initiatives.

“Concert for Classrooms is an incredible example of what can happen when artists, businesses and community members come together for kids,” said Alexis Gaiptman, President, Canada, Classroom Champions.

“In 2025, this community raised more than $320,000, helping us bring meaningful mentorship and programming to students across Canada. This year, we want to reach even more kids and classrooms, and every ticket purchased brings us closer to that goal.”

Every Concert for Classrooms Ticket Makes a Difference

One of the most meaningful aspects of Concert for Classrooms is its commitment to directing event proceeds toward supporting young people.

Thanks to the support of presenting sponsor Mawer Investment Management and Board Chair Craig Senyk, 100% of every ticket purchase and sponsorship contribution goes directly toward Classroom Champions’ mentorship programs.

The organization’s mission is to empower students to reach their potential by connecting classroom learning with the real-world experiences of world-class athletes.

Since 2008, Classroom Champions has worked with athletes and educators to inspire students across North America, encouraging what the organization calls a Champion Mindset.

By attending Concert for Classrooms 2026, music fans can enjoy an outstanding evening of Canadian entertainment while contributing to programming that makes a lasting difference.
