Starting off our list, we’ve got a Nova Scotia, and based artist by the name of Maggie Andrew. Whose music infuses a style of modern alt-Pop with confident, relatable lyrics that often challenge stereotypical norms. She’s unveiled her second single of 2023 titled, “Better Than You” which you gonna find on all streaming sites now. This edgy, unreserved alternative pop track speaks to all the things people think and rarely say in public. So go take a look, and see what you can learn about Maggie Andrew and her latest in our post right here.

On our next stop, we have our review of another Nova Scotia-based artist. Callum Gaudet explores the issues we’re facing in our world today in his latest single. The song is called “Wolves” and you can hear it now on your favourite streaming service and read our review of the new track. “Wolves” brilliantly dives into themes of conformity, misrepresentation, and the yearning for youth and rebellion. You should go listen to this song and read a review here.

Now onto the top three for this week, which is going to include an emerging, exciting country duo from Ottawa. Lemon Cash, consisting of brothers Cory and Jeff Papineau, I have released a brand new single. It’s called, “Breakup Song” and was written by the brothers and fellow country artist Wes Mack. The first release under their new recording contract with Sakamoto Music, distributed by Warner Music Canada. I definitely recommend you go take a listen to it here.

This week’s second top spot of the week brings a rising country star from St. Albert to the spotlight.
