The Chicks Take Over St. John’s for a Massive Summer Night

The rumours are true! The Chicks are coming to town. The long-awaited announcement for the Churchill Park Music Festival has been announced. Located in the heart of St. John’s, Newfoundland, the festival grounds feature wide open views, surrounded by mature trees and greenery.

“The event brings to Newfoundland a variety of top musical talent and aims to provide a safe, inclusive, and pleasing experience for all attendees.”

Headlining the night on Saturday, July 18th, 2026 are The Chicks. This 13-time Grammy Award winning country-pop trio have earned “universal recognition as the biggest-selling U.S. female band of all time”. The Chicks have over 30.5 million albums sold, being the only female group to achieve multiple ‘diamond’ selling releases, and numerous awards – including Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards and numerous Country Music Association Awards. With an impressive collection of hit songs including ‘There’s Your Trouble’, ‘Wide Open Spaces’, ‘Cowboy Take Me Away’, and ‘Travelin’ Soldier’, there is sure to be something for everyone.

Accompanying The Chicks on this wonderful night of music is Elle King.
