Where farm life meets fearless love — “I’ll Take Those Odds.”

The Osinski Bros, made up of brothers Mason (19) and Burke (21) from Eastend, Saskatchewan, are turning small-town roots into authentic country storytelling with their latest single, “I’ll Take Those Odds.” Written during a phone call while working seeding season on their family farm, the track blends themes of risk, romance, and real-life experiences into a relatable and down-to-earth country release.

First off care to introduce yourself to our readers?

We are the Osinski Bros from Eastend Saskatchewan. We are two brothers Mason (19) and Burke (21), we have been playing music since we were 5 and 7 and have been playing live together shortly after. We started writing songs early on and fell in love with that side of music. Growing up on a farm we have been influenced by all types of music, everything from rock, pop, and especially country.

Tell us a bit about your recent release.

Our recent release “I’ll Take Those Odds” was written about our shared experience with girls and gambling. We wrote the song over a phone call on two separate tractors 2 years ago. We have worked with Aaron Goodvin and For The Record in Nashville and we cut vocals for the song in Whitefish Montana. We are so happy to have it out for everyone to hear on streaming platforms and radio.

Walk us through your creative progress when creating music.

Our creative process is very sporadic. We usually come up with ideas separately and come together to put the finishing touches on songs. We’ll often write away from our instruments, figuring out lyrics and melodies first, then we bring it to our acoustic guitars and make a full song out of our ideas.

Now that the music is out, what does the ‘road ahead’ look like? Beyond tours and videos, what’s one ‘bucket list’ goal you hope to achieve with this release?

Our main goal for this release is to grow our name outside of southwest Saskatchewan and to play shows further from home. We also would love to achieve radio play with I’ll Take Those Odds. We have been playing shows for a long time, so our biggest bucket list goal has to do with the success of our original music and getting an opportunity to record more originals that we have written in the future.

Every artist has a ‘lightbulb moment’ where things just clicked. Looking back, what’s the one performance or milestone that made you realize, ‘Okay, this is what I was meant to do’?

Our first ever “show” we played was at our local golf course clubhouse. We filled the room with family and friends and looking back on it we probably were not very good at the time. During that show everything just kind of changed when we got everyone singing along to the songs we were singing. It’s a feeling you cannot get anywhere else and we definitely caught “The Bug”. Ever since then we have been pursuing our musical dreams.

We love championing Canadian talent. If you were curated a ‘Must-Listen’ playlist of emerging artists right now, who is the first person you’d add?

The first person we would add is a good friend of ours “Kieran Gardner” who is another Saskatchewan artist who makes great country rock music and puts on an amazing live show!

There’s nothing like the energy of a live room. Where can fans catch you on stage next, and for someone seeing you for the first time, what should they expect from a [Band Name] live experience?”

We will be playing a couple of local cabarets in southwest Saskatchewan during June. We will then be playing the Big Flat Folk Fest and Dino Days in our hometown of Eastend, Saskatchewan in July. An Osinski Bros show is full of energy, good times and a little bit of everything. Our set varies from folk, modern country, classic country and we even throw in a couple of classic rock songs. Expect a good time, good music, and an all-out vibe of a night!
