Tonight, Chilean-Palestinian pop sensation Elyanna played a packed MTelus in Montreal!
Elyanna is no stranger to Montreal, with visits last February and as recently as this summer’s OSHEAGA! Nonetheless, the audience was there once again to witness the true transcending performance that is her show. Unlike many of her arabic musician counterparts who weave in multiple languages into their songs to reach a wider audience, Elyanna sings fully in arabic, from beginning to end. With a set full of a different energies, she showcases her incredible range, from bubbly and light to sultry and hard-hitting. Her music, with pop undertones and heavy oriental inspiration, is a journey in itself to a distant, exotic land, that warmed up everyone present as the temperature starts to drop outside.
