cudbear Unveils High-Energy New Single, “The Game”
Our original drummer, Derek Stewart, a founding member of cudbear, announced that he was leaving the band in the fall of 2023. We decided that it would be wise to make another album together before he split. In November of 2023, we entered the studio to record our next LP.
In January we connected with a young upcoming musician named Keagan Ross. Known for his wild DIY shows with his band 027. We started jamming regularly and he’s been welcomed into the band as the new drummer for cudbear. We’ve bonded over a love for Dave Grohl’s drumming in Nirvana and Keagan hits the drums just like Dave (really freaking hard). So although it’s Derek on the record, It’s Keagan who will be smashing away on the drums when you see us live.
