All of these can be found on our website, there are articles from the past week. I believe you should definitely look at some and not miss out on them. However, there’s still plenty more to go and explore across our website but now let’s check out my recommended articles featured on Canadian Beats. There will be a link to each of these articles coming up in this post, but also you can listen to a clip from each of them in this week’s video. So without further ado, I present to you out there, Zach’s Picks Of The Week!

Five

Let’s begin our list with Nigerian-Canadian artist Kays, who is here with his new single “Paranoia”. It’s available everywhere and will transport the listeners to the climate that inspires his sound. Kays channels the rhythms of his native city Lagos, Nigeria with an authentic Afro-Fusion sound. You can go listen to the new single, “Paranoia” when you check out our article for Kays just right through here.

Moving along it’s time for us to introduce, Toronto yacht-rock outfit The Boathouse. They have recently unveiled their second single, “Leave It Behind” across all streaming platforms, and is the follow-up to their 2023 release “Pink Sun”. Now, we have Canadian singer/songwriting duo, The Goddamsels joining our countdown after whirlwind successful 2023. Breaking into the Americana scene with the strength of their debut EP. However, the pair will be kicking off 2024 with a tour of the UK and Ireland, plus sharing a new single “Better Than” coming off of their upcoming full-length album. My second top spot this week is reserved for our first EP Review of the countdown. It’s Canadian artist, Joseph McKelvie aka Dockside Of The Moon will be joining us with his latest two-song EP, Forever Blendz. Beginning as a project used to contemplate his triumphs and past failures, his music blends a variety of eras, groovy, laid-back, psychedelic, folk rock flair. Be sure to go listen to the EP in our article here.

BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport

Well, we have a very special international artist returning to Zach’s Picks Of The Week. Fiery blues, rock, and soul songstress Caroline Cotto from New Orleans is here with another single from her album Bayou Sun. The track is “Young Girl in the City” and takes us to the start of her journey which began in New York City. A city Cotto refers to as the first love of her life. Be sure to go and learn some more about Caroline in our Canadian Beats Passport article featured right here.

One

We have finally reached our last recommendation from our website for the new best music. So allow me to introduce you to Vancouver-based guitarist/vocalist Blair Bellerose and his band Midnight Sparrows. They have decided not to let popular stereotypes about indigenous Canadians get in their way, and have declared their identity “Born In The City” on their latest single. You can go listen to the new single within our article and learn some more about Midnight Sparrows here.

Well, I hope you enjoy those recommendations because I sure did! I only share the best with my listeners, so please go show your support to all of these amazing artists and groups. Plus there is so much more to explore at Canadian Beats Media, so if you have the time or friends to tell, you should refer them to Canadian Beats. Plus you should also turn in next week for my next list of the best music right here! However, be sure to spread the love and positivity in this world and We’ll see you get time. PEACE, LOVE AND GOOD MUSIC EVERYONE!
