Brett Kissel releases his music video for “Let Your Horses Run” and celebrates his three CCMA Award nominations
On July 19, multi-platinum country entertainer Brett Kissel unveiled the official music video, that pays homage to the lifestyle that raised him and is dedicated to his children, for his latest single “Let Your Horses Run.” It was filmed throughout the breathtaking scenery of Alberta’s countrysides and celebrates the rural and ranching communities that are true to Kissel’s roots.
Kissel shares,
“This video is kind of like a love letter to my home province of Alberta, as we get to showcase the sheer beauty it possesses including the majestic views of the Rocky Mountains, and of course, horses. Lots of horses.They are so powerful, yet graceful at the same time. And to see nine-year-old Kenlee and her horse working together in perfect harmony is so inspiring. She’s a rock star! The song is about chasing your dreams and she is well on her way to being a world class barrel racer.”
In other news, Kissel landed three CCMA Award nominations for Musical Collaboration of the Year (“Two of Us” feat. Cooper Alan), Video of the Year (“Two of Us” feat. Cooper Alan), and Alternative Country Album of the Year (West Album). Kissel will also hit his hometown stage at the CCMA Awards in Edmonton on September 14 to perform as part of Canada’s biggest night of country music.
