Ms. Bobbie The Art Pixie shares debut single, “Superstar”
Brampton, ON-based transgender and disabled artist Ms. Bobbie The Art Pixie has unveiled the debut single, “Superstar,” which was written by Ms. Bobbie and Chance Burlock, who also sings on the track.

Coming in close to the 4-minute mark, “Superstar” consists of a lively R&B-inspired beat.
The lyrics have a storytelling, fairytale-inspired vibe and are sung in a somewhat bubbly, pop style mixed with that R&B flair. The vocals on the release are smooth and inviting and intertwine perfectly with the music, creating an experience all its own.
This release goes above and beyond for the first offering under the new moniker, Ms. Bobbie The Art Pixie. Although it consists of strong elements of R&B, the release cannot be confined to one genre. This is the type of song that can and will appeal to listeners with various musical tastes.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
I’m Ms. Bobbie The Art Pixie! I’m a transgender and disabled artist and songwriter from Brampton, Ontario. I used to make music under Apollo Architect; however, the more I started exploring my transness, the more I wanted a new stage name.
Tell us a bit about your most recent release.
I originally wrote this along with Chance Burlock during my time at Metalworks. It was remixed by my friend, Mariana Hutton, a few years ago. It’s inspired by the Motown era.
Where do you tend to pull inspiration from when writing?
Right now, love and queerness.
Do you have any upcoming shows you’d like to tell us about?
Not exactly, because they are not ready yet, but I do art and poetry as well, and I will be selling all of what I’m doing at popups throughout the year! Follow me on Instagram at bobbieartpixie for more.
What’s your goal for 2023?
This project is not just music; I will be releasing a few singles, two EPs, and art and poetry this year.
