Following the soul-stirring release of “Crazyglue and Skeletons,” The Bapti$$, the boundary-pushing musical rebirth of multi-instrumentalist Joseph LaPlante, returns with “My Father’s Sins,” a raw, introspective new single taken from his just-announced debut album, Pop Cult(ure), out September 26th.

Anchored in an aching guitar and a deep 808 heartbeat, “My Father’s Sins” is a confessional offering that digs deep into the scars of lineage, masculine silence, and the fight for spiritual freedom. You can enjoy it now on all streaming sites or here.

Five

Andrew Swift just rolled onto our roster with “Get Lost,” a Matt Fell–produced, windows-down anthem. The Victorian troubadour already boasts three ARIA #1 albums and 2023’s Golden Guitar Male Artist crown, plus hits from Call Out for the Cavalry to the chart-topping Lightning Strikes and Neon Nights. He’s toured with Aussie heavyweights and still champions Gundagai’s Dog on the Tuckerbox. Strap in—Swift’s only picking up speed. We’ve got this incredible interview for you to check out right here.

Four

Dust off your Walkman, dig out that denim jacket, and prepare for a neon-coloured nostalgia trip: Men Without Hats are back with a synth-pop banger that celebrates the decade that made them legends. Their new single, “I <3 the ‘80s,” lands June 26 with a hairsprayed wink and a shoulder-padded strut, and it’s everything you’d expect from the band who gave us “The Safety Dance”—and more. I’m sure you’re gonna love their brand new single, so check it out now through the link here.

Three

With a cold drink in one hand and a lifetime of stories in the other, the Kristin Nicholls Band is ready to raise the roof — and your spirits — with their latest country anthem “One More Round.” Out now at country radio and streaming everywhere, the track is a full-throttle, feel-good call to the dancefloor, complete with line-dance energy, soul-saving choruses, and one foot firmly in the honky-tonk. Learn more here.

Two

Duane “D.O.” Gibson — Canadian hip-hop artist, author, and two-time Guinness World Record holder — returns with his heartfelt new single “Dad I Did It,” which dropped June 13 via Believe. Featuring Saukrates and produced by JUNO winner Rich Kidd, the track arrives just in time for Father’s Day and serves as the lead single from D.O.’s upcoming album, Just To Finish the Story. Keep an eye out for the album and check it out on all streaming platforms. Learn more via our interview here.

After a lengthy hiatus, Canadian alternative rock band Doll announces their return with Better Days, Different Times, a new EP set for release on July 18th, 2025. The announcement comes alongside the premiere of their first single, a unique take on Deep Purple‘s “Smoke on the Water”, marking the band’s first new material in over a decade. Check it out on all streaming platforms or through the link here.
