Welcome back to the best list of new music on the Internet. All of these articles come from this very same website, Canadian Beats Media. Check out our homepage for all sorts of amazing content like interviews and concert coverage. But right now I have chosen my top six articles and placed them into Zach’s Picks of the Week. Of course, these are just my personal recommendations, so you’re more than welcome to go find your own. But if you enjoy these, I would appreciate it if you’d share them with your friends and family. So what do you say we get right into the brand new music, coming out here on Canadian Beats, the home of the best music and the newest artists!!
Five
This entry on our list is gonna be given to the East Coast Music Awards nominee for “Entertainer of the Year”, Robert Thomas and the sessionmen.
He’s a natural-born storyteller, with an energetic and welcoming voice. He will highlight stories about our lives with empathy, energy, and humour. Their latest single “The Way We Roll” is available across all streaming sites. As a boy, his Marine Corps aviator father would tell him “son, there are two kinds of people in this world – Marines and crazies.” This song is about two of the crazies. You can take a look at the official video within our article right through here.
Four
Coming up next is gonna be the Toronto-based gritty, powerhouse rock group, Louisiana Child.
Their band blends hard-hitting southern rock, blues, and country into a dynamic mix of foot-stomping, head-banging anthems. Currently, they are hard at work on their debut EP collaborating with producers and mixing engineers, George Panagopoulos and Mark McMaster. The band’s latest single, “Cocaine Cowboy” is available now on all streaming platforms. It delivers a raw and gripping narrative about the devastating power of addiction. You’re going to have to listen to “Cocaine Cowboy” in our single review of the new tune by Louisiana Child, just right through here.
Three
Up next we have another Toronto-based musician, it’s folk/singer-songwriter icon Ken Whiteley.
Having an incredible discography already, his latest single “Hole In The Clouds” is off his timeless, tranquil, and tremendously solid studio album, Unseen Hands. The album was produced by Whiteley himself and released under Pyramid Records. But the lead and new single “Hole In The Clouds” is a dreamy lullaby-esque tune that has Whiteley at his best. Have a look at the lyric video of Ken Whiteley’s new single, right through here.
Two
This spot is reserved for the Juno-nominated neo-trad, folk, and Celtic ensemble, Aerialists.
They’re excited about the release of “I Lost My Heart On Friday”, which you can find now across any streaming platform, thanks to Fiddlehead Records. Best known for blending traditional melodies with contemporary flare, this new album brings a festive, celebratory vibe shift from the band’s introspective past work. But each member of the band brings out the best in the others on this new record. Blending their sounds without ever stepping on one another’s toes, however, you can listen to the album right here.
Bonus: Canadian Beats Passport
This spot is going to deliver our international artist and bonus recommendation. This article is featured in our Canadian Beats Passport, highlighting international artists and bands, and this time we are introducing you to German and Spanish pop singer, Emland.
Emland’s latest single “Better Off Without Me” is available now on all streaming platforms. Emland found himself crossing paths with someone he “felt a deep connection with.” But with the pain of the breakup still fresh, the new relationship was prevented from possibly developing into something special. This will be coming off his album EVOLVE, set for release next year. Check out the new song in the same passport article featured on our website here.
One
It’s time now for my final and number one recommendation of the week, Geneviève Racette.
With the release of her fourth studio album, Golden is a deeply personal and introspective piece, showcasing her ethereal vocals and vulnerable storytelling. She explores themes of sobriety, friendship breakups, and self-love on this album. His features many previous hit singles like “From friends to strangers,” “Same Old Me” and “Instagram”. Please have a listen to my number one recommended article here.
Those are going to be all the incredible recommendations that I could pull together for you from our website. Please be sure to still explore the rest of our website for all the amazing content that is being posted. Monday to Sunday you’ll see the best music on the Internet right here on Canadian Beats. That also will conclude our list for this week and I will be back next time with another batch. Be sure to spread the love and positivity in our world this week. But like I said, at the end of all of these posts. PEACE, LOVE AND GOOD MUSIC EVERYONE!!
