Zach's Picks 555

Find out Zach Cooper’s Picks of the Week at Canadian Beats Media

How’s it going, music fans? I’d like to officially welcome you back for another music Monday with the newest Canadian tunes. These are Zach’s Picks Of The Week, my five recommendations from our website, Canadian Beats Media. You will enjoy them since I have been. So what do you say we discuss them in this week’s episode? Our website is constantly posting the newest and best Canadian music. So please explore all of the amazing content we have posted. However, in the video below, you can see a clip from each of my picks. You can listen to the rest of these songs in their respective articles, which are found in the links below. So, if you’re still reading this, you are in for a great batch of new music. So why don’t you stick around and show your friends? But for now, it’s time to get into it here on Zach’s Picks Of The Week, kicking it off at number five!

Five

To begin our list, we will bring an indie rock trio from Lake of the Woods, Ontario, to your attention. The group is called Tinge, led by incredible singer/songwriter Veronica Blackhawk. Together there have released their debut collection of songs on March 3rd. The record is Big Deep Sigh and can be found across all streaming platforms thanks to House of the Wonders Records. These songs are raw and sorrowful as much as catchy and vast, so be sure to go and listen to them in our article and find out more about Tinge in our Five Questions With segment here.

Four

Our next recommendation is an alt-pop duo separated by a few thousand miles. They have been making music together for several years since they met online. Stacy Kim and Kaelan Geoffrey make up the group, Bestfriend, and they have announced their sophomore EP, i’ve left, which will be released on April 21st via Nettwerk. However, they have released their third single off of the EP, which you can listen to everywhere. But the track is called “Love Always Comes So Easy For You,” and you can go add it to any of your favourite streaming platform playlists. Plus, listen to it when you visit our article featuring our Five Questions With Bestfriend, here.

Three

We have made it to the halfway point in this week’s list. I’m now going to introduce Toronto-based alt-pop singer/songwriter Devon Cole. She is back with her newest single, “Call U After Rehab,” which you can find everywhere thanks to Arista Records. Her latest track will follow after her hit single “W. I.T.C.H.,” which has already accumulated over 70 million streams and is still counting. Her success didn’t stop there; she has seen two different nominations for breakthrough artist, one from the Juno Awards this year and the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. She is well on her way to becoming one of the biggest artists on the scene, so go hear her new single here.

Two

My last two recommendations are really good ones. That’s why they have been saved for last. Now it’s time to bring out Halifax-based country singer-songwriter Cameron Nickerson and his sophomore album, Submission, which is one of our latest album reviews conducted at Canadian Beats Media. The eight-song release consists of a great mixture of upbeat and ballad tracks, putting forth something for everyone. One of my personal favourites is going to be the track “Famous.” It’s a country anthem with an upbeat, catchy melody and witty lyrics. Don’t take my word for it, though; read the album review here.

One

Finally, my last recommendation for this week’s list of new music will be Country artist Jamie Stever. Jamie spends his time between his hometown of Prince Edward County, Ontario, and his second home of Nashville, Tennessee. In January, he released a new album, Spotlight, featuring some incredible songs you should stream now. But Jamie has made his way through Nashville’s Music City and landed a writing position on Music Row. One of his long-term goals is to show the world what kind of talented Canadian artists have in today’s country music market. If you want to learn more about James Stever, you should check out our Five Questions With segment featuring him here.

Those will be my incredible list of new music this week on Zach’s Picks Of The Week, and please support these artists on everything. You can find the links to their socials in each respected article. Those are going to be my recommendations from our website, and please explore the rest of this website for the newest Canadian tunes. I’ll be back with new stuff to share with you all. Thank you so much for checking out all these Picks Of The Week. Tell your friends, and we will see you next music Monday. So as always, PEACE, LOVE, AND GOOD MUSIC, EVERYONE!!
