AARYS releases new single, “Talk”

Ontario’s AARYS is back with a brand new single, “Talk”. On the single, AARYS dives deeply into her connection with mental health. The song speaks about her personal experience with anxiety and the struggle between wanting to talk to someone when you are in a dark place but ultimately deciding to hide it because you’re afraid of what people will think due to the outside stigma.

The release came on Bell Let’s Talk Day, but AARYS wants to do more to help bring awareness to mental health. On January 31, she will also be putting on a singer-songwriter night/ mental health awareness fundraiser for CAMH at B-Side Lounge (669 College St, Toronto).  She will be joined by fellow local artists, Peach Luffe, Holly Ouellette, Amanda Lyn Parker, and Running Red Lights to share their stories and songs about their own experiences with mental health. Doors for the show open at 7:30 and the $15 cover will be put towards a donation to CAMH.
