Twin Flames Announce New Album, Release Single “Bones”

Indie-Folk duo Twin Flames (consisting of Chelsey June and Jaaji) announce the release of their 4th studio album, Hugging the Cactus, set for October 18th (Independent). With the album announcement, they share the powerful new single, “Bones,” the follow-up to its lead single, “Hearts on Fire,” released earlier this year. The new album is produced by Juno and Grammy award-winning producer John “Beetle” Bailey, with co-production by the seasoned Twin Flames producer Jacob Jones.

“Bones” sees Jaaji reflect on intergenerational trauma and what he witnessed growing up in a small, isolated community.

I wrote this song as a personal mantra in uncertain times; the chorus “Gonna be ok” serves as a reminder that life can get better,” shares Jaaji. “I dove into the darker parts of my past and all the times I spent wondering if I was going to be ok.”

Ahead of the album release this fall, Twin Flames will spend much of the summer on tour across Canada. The duo offers a memorable show with the perfect blend of music, comedy, and thought-provoking stories. Their synchronicity and love shine through at every show. They are kicking things off tomorrow, Friday, June 7th, with a Canadian Music Week showcase at the Poetry Jazz Cafe. They’ll also perform additional shows in Ontario, along with stops in Nunavut, BC, and many more. All the details can be found below and at https://www.twinflamesmusic.com/shows
