Foo Fighters announce a very special Montreal show!
This morning, Montreal Foo Fighters fans started their day on the right foot, with an announcement of a very special show in less than two weeks!
The band’s last visit dates from 2011 (twelve years ago!) at the Bell Center. And while the band could fill up the arena in seconds, they have chosen a more intimate venue, Verdun’s Auditorium and its 5,000 capacity, where the band first played 20 years ago almost to the day!
Dave Grohl and the gang’s returned has been a long tease for Montreal fans, with the band supposed to headline Osheaga in 2020, 2021, and 2022 (the only edition that wasn’t cancelled due to COVID, but with the band cancelling after Taylor Hawkins’ tragic passing).
Foo Fighters will also be playing Festival d’Été de Québec in Quebec City on July 8th, with the 100,000 capacity making for a stark contrast!
Tickets for the Montreal show go on sale tomorrow (Thursday, June 29th) at 10am EST on evenko.ca. Make sure to set your alarm early, as these will no doubt sell out in minutes!
