ZACH COOPZ SHARES HIS TOP PICKS FOR ANOTHER WEEK

We are looking at the best new music on the way from this website that is always dropping the best on the Internet. Welcome back to Zach’s Picks of the Week, brought you by Canadian Beats Media. These are articles that were all posted last week and were hand-chosen by me as my favorites. I believe they’re worth sharing with you and all your friends, family, or whoever just needs to listen. some of these will have just the music attached others will have videos that you can check out with each of the articles. Be sure to visit the links to each of these recommendations coming up in the post that you are reading right now. I made sure I posted them below so it’s easy for you to find them because some of them might be a little hard. But don’t worry, cause Zach’s Picks of the Week is starting right here and now with the new music!

Five

Kicking off this week’s list, it’s Gondola from Montreal. They make moody indie/alt-rock scientifically designed to make you yearn, sway with angst, and possibly call your ex in the dead of night. Their latest single, “Aphantasia” is a song of mourning someone who’s still out there, somewhere, leaving you with nothing but hazy recollection and a bad sensation of where they used to be. You’re gonna enjoy the new single across all your favourite streaming platforms and within the article posted on our website. However, their next track is poised to be even more devastatingly danceable when it releases later this summer. Listen to “Aphantasia” here.

Four

Next up will be the return of the rising Canadian indie pop-rock duo, The Manic Boys And Girls Club. They have released a brand new video for their compelling new single “Sorry”. It’s a slow, emotional track that serves as a poignant escape from reality and further showcases the duo’s ability to captivate listeners with raw storytelling. This track is coming out of their self-titled EP, which was released just last month and the new music video was directed by French filmmaker and visual artist Lois Zimmermann. Be sure to check out this incredible work of art that is the music video for “Sorry,” by The Manic Boys and Girls Club. Check it out here.

Three

Moving onto the next spot on our list, you can hear nods to her Celtic roots with Stratford Ontario-based singer/songwriter Callie McCullough. She has planted a firm foot in the folk realm with her latest single “Great Big Sky,” available across all streaming platforms. It’s an ethereal and poignant wanderer’s anthem she penned solo while delving into the complexities of existence. With help from Grammy-nominated producer Dave Brainard, the song harkens toward the styles of artists like Mumford and Sons and Lord Huron. You can enjoy her latest, single “Great Big Sky” across all streaming sites and within the pages of our article that is linked right here.

Two

Runner-up to the top spot this week is going to be the latest from award-winning singer-songwriter, Nate Haller. Recently he dropped his new single “Drive,” which you can hear across all streaming sites now. It’s a feel-good anthem that is poised to be the song of the summer and the anchor of his live shows. Blending traditional country elements with a contemporary sound, the result is a track that is both nostalgic and fresh, capturing the essence of summertime. Go on and check out the new single within our article that we have posted right here.

BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport

This week’s international recommendation is going to be involved in the blues music scene. Singer-songwriter Evan Nicole Bell joins us from Baltimore, Maryland with her captivating debut EP. Runaway Girl is available now across all streaming platforms and was released independently at the start of this year. It includes four incredible tracks, which is including this unbridled version of the Muddy Waters classic “Catfish Blues.” But with her full-length debut album in the works, Bell is poised to fulfill the promise that her EP, Runaway Girl has made. If you wanna learn more about the musical genius, that is Evan Nicole Bell, check out our article that is posted right here.

One

My final choice for this week is going to be the acclaimed Vancouver post-punk outfit known as ACTORS. Well, they have released a hard-hitting and highly emotional new single, ‘Dead Inside’ which is out everywhere now. It centered around arguably the most human emotions of all, it’s yet another showcase of the band’s innate ability to convert human affliction into a captivating sonic masterpiece. The new single was released through Artoffact Records and ACTORS will be sitting out on tour this year. You can find a list of all of the upcoming tour dates and listen to the brand new single “Dead Inside”, just right through here.
