CALLIE MCCULLOUGH SOARS WITH CELTIC-INSPIRED FOLK SONG “GREAT BIG SKY”
With a nod to her Celtic roots, Stratford, Ontario singer/songwriter Callie McCullough plants a firm foot in the folk realm with her new single “Great Big Sky,” an ethereal and poignant wanderer’s anthem she penned solo while delving into the complexities of existence.
The Grammy-nominated producer Dave Brainard’s epic capture of this song harkens towards the style of Mumford and Sons and Lord Huron, adding a bold and exciting new stripe to McCullough’s sound that perfectly weaves her lyrical vulnerability with canyon-sized soundscapes into a true work of art. This is the third release Brainard and McCullough have teamed up on, following the acclaimed single “What If I Don’t” and “All That I Want,” which received radio airplay in Canada, the U.S., and the UK.
