Time to put on your cowboy hats, because LASSO Montreal is on! After a highly-successful first year featuring Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan as headliners, the festival is back for another year of country music excellence!

After a flash thunderstorm that luckily only hit between doors and the first show, and did not derail the whole schedule, we started our day with Cali-born and Texas-raised keytar hero Madeline Edwards, followed by BC’s Tyler Joe Miller, who invited Quebec’s rising country star Matt Lang to perform their duet Never Met a Beer.

Up next, Priscilla Block brought the pop-country vibes, followed by Kameron Marlowe who infused more rock vibes into his set. Meanwhile, DJ trio Cheat Codes took over the Ranch Stage for an EDM set of only country hits! An unexpected addition to the lineup that somehow crushed it, with everyone dancing and singing along to major hits!

Back at the main stage, Charley Crockett put on an incredible set deeply influenced by old-time country and western music, truly showing all the facets that country music can take! Up next, Ontario’s Jade Eagleson rocked the stage, followed by American Idol alum Gabby Barrett who brought on a spectacular performance! Then, Jake Owen closed the Prairie stage with a set high in energy and great showmanship!

Finally, shortly after 9pm, a countdown appeared on the main stage, as the audience grew high with anticipation! The man of the night, Kane Brown, arrived with a show-stopping entrance, in front of screaming fans that knew every single lyrics. With fire and confetti, the Tennessee singer pulled all the stops to put on an entertaining sets. From Lose It all the way to Good As You, Kane Brown turned LASSO Montreal into one big party to remember!
