“Lame,” The New Single From Indie Pop Artist earth2zoe Will Have Your Heart Going Non-Stop
Today, indie pop artist earth2zoe has entered the chat with her independently released new single “Lame.” Collaborating with producer Ryan Stewart, “Lame” puts earth2zoe’s incredibly unique voice, heart-tugging lyrics, and electro-pop hooks on display. The song dives into the raw truths of relationship betrayal in the era of social media, where information often presents itself without searching for it. Once again, earth2zoe takes her real-life experiences and channels real emotions into her songwriting, offering a catchy summer breakup anthem that turns the tables on the cheater, making them out as the fool.
About her latest single, earth2zoe shares
“The track ‘lame’ was written very quickly after I discovered I’d been played. My boyfriend hit me up with a text like, “Babe, I’ve got this huge business thing tonight, but I’ll make it up to you, I swear.” So, there I was stuck at home on Valentine’s Day, bored out of my mind. That’s when I found myself deep-diving into social media, doing what we all do—stalking people online. I stumbled upon this girl’s socials, someone I used to know. Posted five minutes ago was a picture depicting my boyfriend and this girl having dinner at an upscale restaurant. Talk about fate, right? In that moment, fuelled by a mix of anger and heartache, I grabbed my guitar and started writing the first verse of ‘Lame’. I hit up my producer in a frenzy and an hour later the song was done. Instead of sending a text to my no-good ex, the lyrics flowed out of me, raw and real.”
