Last night, Canadian indie rock fans flocked to Place Bell to catch BC’s Mother Mother for their first visit in town since 2023!

Led by guitarist and vocalist siblings Ryan and Molly Guldemond, the band made a dazzling entrance onstage before kicking into high gear with Nobody Escapes, Arms Tonite and Hayloft II. While mainly in support of their latest album The Grief Chapter, the setlist packed a punch, all the way through finale track Burning Pile.

For an hour and a half, Mother Mother delivered an electrifying performance last night, blending raw energy with flawless harmonies. The crowd was fully locked in, singing every word as the band ripped through their set with relentless intensity. Easily one of their most fun Montreal shows yet—pure indie rock magic.
