Last night, MTelus was packed to the brim for the premier of Alicia Moffet ‘s Intertwine Tour!
Ontario pop singer Ryland James opened the evening, on a heartwarming anecdote that he came to MTelus many years ago to watch Tori Kelli’s concert, but that now it was his time to be on stage. His set felt intimate, as the singer serenaded the crowd alone with his guitar under moody lighting.
Shortly before 9pm, Alicia’s dog Willow paid the stage a visit, to the pleasure of photographers in the pit and fans in the front row who got their cuddles in with the adored golden retriever.
Alicia Moffet arrived onstage to a thunder of applause. On a minimal stage set-up with her band and two rows of neon lights in the back, the focus was clearly put on her talent. Just like when she opened the Montreal Jazz Festival last summer, she enchanted the crowd with her bubbly presence, incredible voice and contagious energy!
The Intertwine Tour will be going through Quebec until the end of March. For dates, tickets and more info, visit Alicia’s website.
