Burn The Louvre unveils their 7th single from Silhouettes, “Achilles’ Heel”
Hamilton’s Burn The Louvre‘s 7th single, “Achilles’ Heel,” is yet another indie folk/rock/pop tune drenched in nostalgia (they’re getting pretty good at that).
Lead singer Jordan Speare tells us the story behind this very personal, unorthodox love song:
“I wrote “Achilles’ Heel” for my college sweetheart. I had the chords and the music already finished months before, but for whatever reason, I was struggling with the lyrics. I finished it the day after we had first gotten together. I thought Achilles’ Heel was a beautiful way to describe our relationship. I think everybody has their own Achilles’ Heel and mine was Maya.”
