My name is Sabab and I am an artist from Calgary that’s about to drop a very enjoyable tape very very soon! You could find me on Instagram.
Tell us a bit about your most recent release.
My latest release is called “YYC to PVG”, it was produced, mixed, and filmed/edited by my guys’ Nikonor, GloryBeats, and LK Visuals. If you enjoy happiness, I am sure my single could assist.
When it comes to the global pandemic, how are you keeping yourself out in the public eye while not being able to perform?
Well I mean, social media ads and creating memorable content for one instead of finding a trend where I could post more often to work with the algorithm. I feel that dilutes what you’re trying to accomplish as an artist. Especially in the climate of TikTok.
Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so if you were able to work with ONE fellow Canadian artist, alive or dead, who would you choose?
I’d want to work with Justin Bieber, only because I had “Bieber hair” back in grade 7 and it wasn’t that great.. would just like to make some music with him to make up for it.
What’s your goal for 2022?
Having my city support me, is my main goal by Christmas.
