Sons of Daughters release much-anticipated new single “I Picture You”

Sons of Daughters have released their brand new single “I Picture You,” hot off the heels of the duo’s 2019 debut EP Love In A Bar. Released this past July, Love In A Bar spawned the single “Ain’t Gonna be Lonely Long.” The duo went on to be nominated for the Rising Star Award at the 2019 CCMA Awards in Calgary and were finalists in the 2019 SiriusXM Top of the Country competition.

The duo’s new single “I Picture You” is an impactful ballad with a catchy, pop-meets-country vibe. Drawing from personal experiences, the song evokes nostalgic feelings of happiness and longing when reflecting on fond memories of a loved one. Members Chrystal Leigh and Jimmy Thow co-wrote the track alongside Gavin Slate and Travis “T-Buck” Wood while in Nashville. It was co-produced by Thow and producer Brad Hill.

“We wanted to capture the timeless and heartfelt notion of “the one who got away.” Sometimes you lose touch with people you were once close with and every so often you catch yourself thinking about them. This song is the answer to the universal question: I wonder if they ever think of me?” Leigh and Thow explain.

The track comes in advance of several tour dates alongside Tebey and Meghan Patrick throughout 2020. Fans can catch the duo on tour beginning in January 2020 with Tebey in Alberta and Meghan Patrick in Ontario.
