The Halifax Urban Folk Festival has announced a series of artists set to perform free concerts along the Halifax Waterfront on Saturday, August 31st and Sunday, September 1st. The newly announced list of artists includes Dennis Ellsworth and the Electric Stars, Jah’Mila, Slowcoaster, Pretty Archie, The Hypochondriacs, Corey Isenor, and Eamon McGrath & the Halifax All-Stars.
Presented with support from Develop Nova Scotia and the Downtown Halifax Business Commission, the HUFF Waterfront Stage at The Salt Yard is set against the backdrop of one of Halifax’s most scenic and iconic destinations complete with access to local vendors and generous seating options. The afternoon concerts are family-friendly, and all ages are welcome.
This year’s HUFF festival is set to also include noteworthy performances from the likes of Matthew Sweet, Alejandro Escovedo, Damhnait Doyle, The Burning Hell, Mo Kenny, Christina Martin and many more.
