How do you do everybody, welcome back to the music Monday’s here on Canadian Beats. I hope you survived this last week and are ready to recharge on some new tunes. But we’ve had a lot of snow and flooding this last week here in BC. It’s not to do with anything music, but I hope & pray that everybody is okay, safe, and with those you love. 2. Coming up right now we have got legendary post-hardcore outfit Silverstein with their brand new single, “It’s Over” which you can find on all streaming sites now. The band continues to balance their core sound, an intensely dynamic mix of melody and aggression, with a natural growth as songwriters and evolving inspirations. They recently hit 20 years as a band, marking two decades of relentlessly pushing themselves from their underground roots to becoming one of the most influential bands in their scene. 1. Canadian country-pop artist Taylor-Rae has recently released her new single, “Are You Still Up?”. In just a few weeks following its release, the single has racked up over 200,000+ streams across platforms. The single was written about the period shortly after a breakup, Taylor-Rae’s “Are You Still Up” perfectly captures the feelings of vulnerability one experiences after a relationship comes to an end.
