The 2019 East Coast Music Awards are quickly approaching which means details are starting to trickle in. One of the most exciting announcements for the week are the nominees, which were announced today.
Classified leads the pack with seven nominations, and Ben Caplan follows with six. 2018 Polaris Music Prize winner Jeremy Dutcher earns five nominations, while Fortunate Ones, Hillsburn, Paper Lions, and Neon Dreams each garner four.

Nominees are broken down regionally with 17 from Cape Breton, 31 from New Brunswick, 33 from Newfoundland and Labrador, 106 from Nova Scotia and 32 from Prince Edward Island
