Sabaton sets Place Bell ablaze with explosive pyro, thunderous metal, and unstoppable crowd energy.
Sabaton brought the war machine to Place Bell in Laval, and we absolutely loved it. From the moment they hit the stage, the energy was massive, with a crowd that was completely invested and singing along throughout the night.
The evening got off to a weaker start with opening acts Wings of Steel and Pop Evil. Unfortunately, both performances suffered from poor sound, and the lighting was practically nonexistent, making it difficult to fully connect with either band. There was plenty of potential, but the production didn’t do them any favors.

Then came Sabaton — and what a difference. The sound, energy, stage presence, and production immediately stepped up. The pyro was a major highlight, adding an explosive visual punch to an already powerful show. Most importantly, the crowd was all in, feeding off the band’s energy and making the entire arena feel alive.
Whatever shortcomings the opening acts had, Sabaton more than made up for them. A loud, fiery, high-energy night that left us very happy we were there.
