The Last Dinner Party
April 23, 2026
Massey Hall, Toronto, ON
Certain performances transcend the standard recital of a discography, evolving instead into a communal event. Inside a sold-out Massey Hall, fans arrived in cohesive attire, vocalizing every lyric and mirroring the emotional shifts of the crowd. This was a shared milestone, framed by an elaborate set design that mirrored the band’s visual identity and lent the evening a staged, dramatic quality.
The group remains in peak form, delivering a precise execution from the opening notes to the final exit. Aside from minor equipment friction during “I Hold Your Anger,” the band demonstrated absolute control over their craft. Abigail Morris anchored the stage, steering the performance with a natural magnetism and a vocal tone that felt both spectral and resonant.
