Alex Sampson brought the “Thank You For Loving Me” tour to a capacity crowd at Toronto’s Mod Club.
The night opened with 19-year-old Rikki Lumi delivered a performance built around her Venus-inspired persona.
Following them, Maryjo, supported only by her guitarist, Bennet. Their set stripped away typical pop production, relying on vocal dynamics and acoustic arrangements to fill the room.
Sampson’s headlining set focused on his transition to the stage, leaning into his identity as a Canadian songwriter. He maintained a steady pace, delivering recent singles with a technical precision that matched his studio recordings. The sold-out show functioned as a focused showcase for emerging pop talent.
