Phantogram brought their hypnotic blend of electronic pop and dark psychedelia to the Commodore Ballroom on February 22, delivering a performance that was both mesmerizing and electrifying. As part of their Running Through Colors Tour, the duo—Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter—crafted an immersive experience, seamlessly weaving between the past and present of their ever-evolving sound.

Opening the night with “Jealousy” from their latest album, Memory of a Day, the duo immediately set the tone for an evening celebrating both their new material and their beloved back catalog. The crowd, a mix of longtime devotees and newer fans, was locked in from the start. Barthel’s ethereal yet commanding vocals floated above Carter’s intricate production, creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and cinematic.

The setlist spanned their career, with standout moments including “Fall In Love” and “Don’t Move,: before closing with the hauntingly powerful When I’m Small.

Phantogram only has a few more dates left on the tour, ending in Los Angeles on February 28.

Brazilian rock and pop rock group Ginger and the Peppers opened the night.
