On November 2, British rockers Enter Shikari and You Me At Six co-headlined their show at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC with Yours Truly.
Touring in support of Enter Shikari’s latest album A Kiss for the Whole World, the two bands delivered a memorable performance, heightened by the fact that this marked You Me At Six’s last North American tour following their upcoming disbandment,
The night kicked off with Australian pop-punk trio, Yours Truly. Lead singer Mikalia Delgado commanded the stage with powerful vocals and undeniable energy, while guitarist Teddie Winder-Heron and drummer Henry Beard kept the momentum high.
As You Me At Six began their final Canadian show, the crowd erupted, singing along word-for-word to “Room to Breathe” and other beloved tracks from across the band’s discography. Frontman Josh Franceschi took a moment to thank Vancouver. A highlight of their set was when Franseschi, who had lost a family member a few days prior, asked for everyone to turn on their phone light in honour of loved ones who passes away, illuminating the stage for “Take On The World.” It was a bittersweet performance that left fans with a sense of closure and joy, as You Me At Six celebrated their legacy with an enthusiastic farewell.
Finally, Enter Shikari took the stage, kicking off with spoken lyrics from frontman Roy Reynolds, followed by the electrifying “System / Meltdown.” The band’s unique fusion of rock and electronic elements created an immersive experience. Highlights included fan-favourite “Solidarity,” where the crowd chanted in unison with the band, as well as the hit “Sorry You’re Not a Winner,” remixed by Pendulum for a fresh twist. The night ended on a high with “A Kiss for the Whole World x.”
