Barstool Confession Shares Music Video For “Tamed”
Barstool Confession, the dynamic Canadian band hailing from Barrie, Ontario, is gearing up to release their latest country rock single, “Tamed,” on May 9th, 2024.

First off, care to introduce yourself to our readers?
BARSTOOL CONFESSION is a Canadian country/rock band and recording artist from Barrie, Ontario, Canada. The band was formed in 2018 and consists of members Jeff Hamilton on drums, Brian Fell on bass, Paul Sadlon on lead guitar, and Buck Goodbrand on guitar and vocals. Barstool Confession plays consistent live shows throughout the year at various venues in Central Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area!! BARSTOOL CONFESSION has been an opening act for bands including TEENAGE HEAD, TONY MC ALPINE, LEE AARON, BIG SUGAR, and TEXAS KING to name a few.
In the spring of 2021, BARSTOOL CONFESSION released their debut EP, Own the Change, and single “HOLD YOUR GROUND” on global streaming platforms. They were amazed at the immediate traction “Hold Your Ground” received with immediate radio play on Central Ontario radio stations.
In May 2022, BARSTOOL CONFESSION released their most recent single “PLACE OUR OWN” hitting the radio waves in Central Ontario.
On MARCH 28, 2024, BARSTOOL CONFESSION released their next single “LEAD YOU BACK” which started to get immediate traction on media streaming platforms and is now hitting the radio waves.

Tell us a bit about your most recent release.
BARSTOOL CONFESSION moved from the rock genre into the country genre and released their latest single “TAMED” on MAY 9, 2024. Within a couple of weeks “TAMED” had reached the TOP 30 of the UK Country iTunes Charts and continues to climb various independent/Indie internet radio charts and is getting played on various sources and getting global exposure.
Do you have any upcoming shows you’d like to tell us about?
Barstool Confession is on regular rotation playing music venues in Central Ontario, Canada. Barstool Confession will also be playing on the main stage, on July 27 in Wasaga Beach, Ontario (Wasaga Beach is the longest freshwater beach in the world). As well, they will also be playing on August 3rd for the large festival (Kempenfest) and will also be performing at the Barrie Fair on August 23rd. All of our shows booked throughout 2024 are currently in Ontario, Canada but eventually would like to do some shows in other provinces in Canada and the USA.
If given the chance, which Canadian artist would you love to work with in the future?
All of the band has various musical influences and would probably all have their own particular artists they would like to collaborate with. With Barstool Confession just transitioning to the country genre and finding lots of influence in the new-age country, it would be great to collaborate or play with artists such as Nate Smith, Cory Kent, and Josh Ross.
What’s your goal for 2024?
We have lots of new original music in the works and our main goal is to continue to record our new songs and release them as singles throughout the year 2024. We hope that the traction that our single “TAMED” has received, it will bring people more listeners to our music so we can continue to grow as a band and build a bigger fan base. From there, we want to continue to play more live shows and find our way into opening for larger country artists/acts. Ultimately, we would like to be playing as headliners in our own sold-out shows. That may not happen in 2024, but we definitely want to use 2024 to build the foundation to gain more listeners, experience, and fan base with our music and live shows.
