Eve Parker Finley Unveils Hilarious Revenge Anthem “Screw You Steve” On Canada’s Got Talent

Eve Parker Finley, the multifaceted artist renowned for her comedic prowess and musical talent, debuted her latest single “Screw You Steve” on Canada’s Got Talent. The song, a riotous indie pop masterpiece, draws inspiration from a real-life encounter that sparked both laughter and creative inspiration.

“Screw You Steve” finds its origins in a serendipitous yet ill-fated rendezvous on Grindr, where a seemingly innocent liaison took an unexpected turn. Eve’s encounter with a man named Steve, which culminated in the discovery of his familial commitments, provided the perfect fodder for a comedic revenge anthem.

Speaking about her performance on Canada’s Got Talent, Eve says,

“It’s incredibly exciting to share a different side of my art with people,” says Eve. “I’ve been creating comedy online since 2020 and in person soon after, but to present something musical and comedic together is nerve-wracking and thrilling.”

Eve extends her gratitude to her collaborators, whose contributions have been instrumental in bringing “Screw You Steve” to life. From honing the song’s narrative with friend Tara Mandarino to the expert production skills of Ky Brooks, Nick Schofield, and Montreal-based talent Pompey, every element of the track has been meticulously crafted for maximum impact.

“This one goes out to all the Steves, metaphorical and literal,” Eve declares. “If you’re reading this, Steve, thanks for the inspiration.”

Now on tour in Ontario, Eve Parker Finley is promoting her highly praised new album, In The End. The album is a stirring exploration of Finley’s incredible journey, which is full of hope, brilliance, and joy. By fusing pop and classical music sensibilities with elements of dance and disco, she encourages listeners to envision their future selves and embrace new beginnings. The album reflects events in Finley’s personal life and hints at the process of change, where embracing reinvention and renewal is the key theme.
