Concerts during the week are usually not my jam unless I am on vacation, however, I made an exception for this show! And how could you not! Ruby Waters, Nathaniel Rateliff, and City and Colour are three bands you do not want to miss.

I like to think of this show as a PB&J of energy.

Ruby Waters set off the show with a slow, melodic intro with smooth songs that calmed your heart.

But the night did not stay calm, as soon as Nathaniel Rateliff hit the stage, the entire energy level of the sold-out crowd exploded! Not only did the sold-out crowd explode, but so did Nathaniel’s Tambourine (in my face….).

Once his hour-long set was up, City and Colour came on, we were ready for the calm again. Not that City and Colour is “Calm”, but we were all able to settle into the songs that we had learned by heart. And we did not have to worry about exploding instruments.

Not a single artist disappointed on Tuesday night, and I would go back to see every single band headline a show any time!
