The Washboard Union drops the perfect classic summer song with “Sometimes You Don’t Need A Plan”
On June 23, JUNO and CCMA Award-winning Canadian country band The Washboard Union released their new song “Sometimes You Don’t Need A Plan” via Universal Music Canada and all streaming platforms. This is the second track of new material released by The Washboard Union from their upcoming EP.
“Sometimes You Don’t Need A Plan” is a track with a heartfelt melody and tells a story of life working in the most mysterious ways. The tune reminds us all that sometimes it’s best to let things happen the way they are supposed to. It might surprise you.
David Roberts of The Washboard Union shares,
“It’s funny, this song’s message is something we all need to remind ourselves of from time to time – the best things in life aren’t free as the old adage suggests, the best things in life are sometimes the ones you never planned for and never saw coming. Those incredible happenstances that surprise you, open your eyes or make you completely change your perspective or direction. From the first second we heard this song it just sounded like a Washboard Union song and we just had to record it.”
