Sheila Soares Unveils New Single, “Archangel” featuring Myke Mazzei
Toronto, ON-based singer-songwriter Sheila Soares has teamed up with Myke Mazzei on a new single, “Archangel.”
The single was written several years ago, but during the pandemic Sheila and Myke recorded it, and it was at that time that Sheila realized it had new meaning.
Sheila shares,
“When I wanted to create a visual to go with the song, I wanted to highlight the caregivers. Whether nurses, doctors, volunteers, etc, I asked them to provide photos in their work gear or environment and then provide photos of them “off duty” with pets, friends, partners, and loved ones. The result became a lyric video to accompany the track. I know so many who work tirelessly, and this song is for anyone who gives and gives and gives until they can’t give anymore. There are angels among us, which is why it is titled Archangel. More of a reference than a religious meaning.”
