Last night, British crooner Seal and new wave legends The Buggles charmed Montreal!

First, The Buggles opened the show. Led by frontman Trevor Horn, the 70s band brought all the good vibes in front of a colourful screen, with the crowd up on their feet and dancing for the timeless classic Video Killed The Radio Star!

Shortly after 9pm, the screen onstage lit up with a touching recap of Seal‘s career – from career-marking live performances, notable TV appearances, and plenty of pop culture references to him (our personal highlight: “One name? Who are you, Seal?!” – Michael Cera in Superbad). The singer then appeared to a thunder of applause, kicking things off into high gear with major hit Crazy. For the following hour and a half, Seal left it all on the stage. His performance was flawless and generous – and had the crowd of the theatre standing up every other song (which is rare at that venue!). The evening wrapped up with classics Kiss From a Rose, Get It Together and Love’s Divine, leaving every single person in the audience serenaded, the perfect way to end the weekend!

Seal will be playing in Toronto tonight and tomorrow, and in Vancouver mid-June. If you want to spend a lovely evening and witness true showmanship, you can find tickets and more info here!
