Kicking Off The Party On Thursday, RBCXMUSIC Emerging Artist Stage Will Host 15 Performers Including Over 10 From Atlantic Canada
With only a couple of months left until the biggest country party on the East Coast, Atlantic Canada’s largest multi-day music festival is shining the light on some of the newest faces in Canadian country music with the announcement of its 2023 RBCxMUSIC Emerging Artist Stage performers. Taking place July 6-8, Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell will once again bring Prince Edward Island’s coastal resort community to life with unforgettable performances by the biggest names in country music.
Showcasing the newest up-and-coming talent in country music, the Emerging Artist Stage will kick the Festival off on Thursday with performances by Halifax’s Farewell Town, Holland College’s talented SOPA Students, twin sisters AVA & LILY and PEI natives Down With Darby and Noah Malcolm. The party will continue on Friday when rocker Elyse Aeryn, Nova Scotia’s own Lookout Tower, Joe H Henry, Isabella Swanson, and local talent Lawrence Maxwell take the stage. Completing the incredible lineup on Saturday will be singer-songwriter Cameron Nickerson, Old Time Fiddlers The Lumber Jills, and Islanders Brooke MacArthur, Joce Reyome, and Nicolas Riel.
“One of the main goals of our festival is to give up-and-coming Canadian talent a national platform. We’re so thrilled that our Emerging Artist Stage line-up includes the best country music Atlantic Canada has to offer,” said Ben Murphy, CEO of Whitecap Entertainment. “Every year the Emerging Artist Stage highlights new voices and we look forward to introducing them to our Cavendish Beach Music Festival family this July!”
