The tenth anniversary release of the deluxe remastered edition of Throw Down is kicking off the biggest year yet for country artist Tim Hicks
Multiple-PLATINUM, five-time JUNO-nominated country artist Tim Hicks celebrates the tenth anniversary of his debut album, Throw Down, with a deluxe remastered digital release on April 21. The deluxe edition features a brand new, party-ready version of his international smash hit “Stronger Beer” (Keg Mix) and the unreleased original “Taking It Easy.” The release comes ahead of an exclusive Record Store Day vinyl release of Throw Down.
An exclusive Record Store Day vinyl of Throw Down will be held at select stores on April 22. April 22 is also the day that Hicks will be visiting Revolution Records (Hamilton, ON), Looney Tunes (Burlington, ON), and PCV Records (Oakville, ON) to sign copies of the vinyl and perform an acoustic set.
Hicks shares,
“I’m still in disbelief that it’s been ten whole years since we released my debut album! Where DOES the time go?! You know what they say when you’re having fun … and to keep that fun rolling, we’re rolling out a special, remastered version of Throw Down.”
He continues about the upcoming Record Store Day release,
“I’m so excited that this record will finally be available on vinyl!”

A mix of contemporary country and a blue-collar country rock sound that Tim Hicks is known for, “Talk To Time” is the perfect lead into his anniversary celebration, with the verses painting pictures of lifelong memories and chorus full of powerful, clever statements that bend the reality of time.
