Amanda Hagel shares her first single of 2023, “These Roots”
The award-winning, Canadian inspirational country artist, Amanda Hagel, is excited to release her first single of the year, “These Roots.” After much success with her 2022 country radio single “Dirty Up Good,” Amanda is now releasing one of her most personal and uplifting songs yet.
“These Roots” is a nostalgic reflection on where Amanda was raised—a farm in Southwest Saskatchewan—and her familial ties and the love she shared with her parents, who are now both gone.
Teaming up once again with Canadian award-winning producer Bart Mckay and his incredible cast of musicians, the song has a jumpy country rock feel with its warm acoustic guitar and Americana-esque lead electric guitar.
