HIGHFRONT unveils their single, “Racing Past Regret”
Heavy rock band HIGHFRONT is made up of Adam Loback (Guitar/ Vocals), Corey Zadorozny (Drums), and Jason Desmarais (Bass). The trio is pleased to announce the release of the heavy sludge groove rock song “Racing Past Regret” on all major streaming services and Bandcamp, as well as a video to accompany the release.
The band’s sound is rooted in a heavy hard rock sound, and the three members of HIGHFRONT bring a wide range of influences that have helped them develop their sound. The bands Metallica, Pantera, Slipknot, Red Fang, Alice In Chains, Black Sabbath, and AC/DC are an inspiration, and more influences also come from the artists like Down, Dimebag Darrel, Foo Fighters, and Mudvayne.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
We are HIGHFRONT from Pembroke/Ottawa. I’m Adam Loback, and I play guitar and sing. Then we have Corey Zadorozny on drums and Jason Desmarais on bass.
Tell us a bit about your most recent release.
Our latest song, “Racing Past Regret,” is about getting past what you can no longer control. It’s about accepting what is done “is done,” and like the song says, “it’s only a story to tell.”
Where do you tend to pull inspiration from when writing?
It’s hard to say where inspiration truly comes from. Sometimes it’s as simple as hearing a drum beat, and that’ll trigger a riff. Sometimes I’ll mumble sounds to find a melody and then fit in the lyrics. Songwriting is a challenge, but when it gets done, it feels right

1st confirmed show of 2023 is January 13th at Legends in Pembroke
What’s your goal for 2023?
The goal in 2023 is to play live as much as we can. We’ll continue to release new music, but being on stage is the main goal for this year.
