Day 7: June 16th, 2022

The weather was not on our side for day 7 of Les Francos, as a roaring thunderstorm and torrential rain started falling down on Montreal mid-afternoon. Luckily, around 8pm, skies cleared up and festivities were able to return!
We started our evening with Sarahmée on the Desjardins stage. Accompanied by two dancers, the rapper performed a solid set of sharp lyrics, smooth flows and afro-latin beats.
Next, French singer-songwriter Juliette Armanet arrived on the Bell stage for the main free show of the night. Dressed in silver sequins, Juliette was the light that shone after a gloomy afternoon! Alternating between the piano and dancing on stage, the Le dernier jour du disco singer wowed the crowd with her energy.
Speaking of disco, we ended our night at MTelus with Lisa LeBlanc‘s triumphant return to the stage! All dressed in glitter, the Chiac Disco singer arrived on stage like a hurricane. Accompanied by her band, she gave a generous set with all sorts of vibes: disco, electric guitar, banjo, acoustic solo, the list goes on! A wonderful and upbeat show, the perfect way to close out a day that almost didn’t happen!
