Presented by Bell, the festival will once again transform Cavendish into a destination for country music fans, bringing together legendary performers, rising stars, and Canadian talent. Whitecap Entertainment has unveiled the first 18 artists, with additional announcements still to come.
Tickets are on sale now, starting at $170.
Cavendish Beach Music Festival 2027 Welcomes Three Major Headliners
Leading the first wave of performers are three artists representing different generations of country music.
Tim McGraw, one of country music’s most celebrated entertainers, will make a highly anticipated return to the festival’s main stage for the first time since headlining its inaugural edition in 2009.
Joining him is Riley Green, whose traditional country influences and relatable songwriting have helped establish him as one of the genre’s most popular touring artists.
Rounding out the headlining trio is Sam Barber, a fast-rising singer-songwriter whose emotionally charged performances and distinctive sound have captured the attention of country music audiences.
“Having Tim McGraw back on the main stage for the first time since our inaugural year in 2009 is a huge moment for us, and he’s just one of the 18 artists we’re announcing today,” said Ben Murphy, CEO of Whitecap Entertainment. “For 19 years, fans have been making the trip to Cavendish, so bringing back the artist who headlined our very first festival feels really special. And this is only the beginning of what’s shaping up to be an incredible weekend.”
Cavendish Beach Music Festival 2027 Lineup Features Rising Country Stars
Beyond the headliners, the festival’s first announcement includes an impressive selection of established favourites and emerging performers.
49 Winchester will bring their Appalachian-rooted blend of Southern rock, country, and soul to Prince Edward Island, while Blake Whiten arrives following the success of his Gold-certified breakout single, “Rollin’ Stone.”
Jackson Dean also joins the lineup, alongside genre-blending duo Thelma & James, CMA nominee Carter Faith, and roots-rock favourites Josiah and the Bonnevilles.
The festival continues its tradition of spotlighting emerging talent, with Noah Brigden, Boy Golden, Lily Meola, Jessica Sevier, Abby Stewart, Janna Leduc, Annika Catharina, and Jason Scott & The High Heat among the artists announced.
Adding another dimension to the weekend, country-dance remix project Country Night will bring high-energy entertainment to the festival grounds.
With more performers still to be revealed, the 2027 edition is already shaping up to deliver a diverse mix of country music sounds and styles.
