Joji,
For a specific subset of the crowd at Scotiabank Arena, Joji’s headlining set in Toronto felt like a defining cultural marker. Scattered across the floor were fans in pink morph suits, a quiet nod to his chaotic internet comedy roots before his transition into one of LoFi, alternative R&B’s most distinct, melancholic voices.
The openers, Corbin and Nate Sib got the crowd ready for the big act.

That history lent an underlying weight to the sheer scale of Joji‘s Solaris Tour. Moving far beyond the minimalist setups of his early days, the production featured massive LED frames and a catwalk that elevated him above the stage. The structural spectacle balanced his characteristically reserved, low-key stage presence, framing his down-tempo lofi tracks with immense cinematic weight.
While the setlist drew heavily from his latest album, Piss In The Wind, the night peaked when he stripped the production down to its core. Performing “Slow Dancing in the Dark”, and his voice carried a depth that easily filled the arena before a wall of white confetti closed out the night. It was a phenomenal performance, proving exactly how far he has traveled from his bedroom-pop origins.
If you’re able to catch the tour, it’s a must-see!
