Six

Indie rock outfit Club Cadetta are charting their own path with the release of their debut, self-titled EP Club Cadetta, and its magnetic lead single “Talking to Myself,” both out now on all streaming platforms. Check it out here.
Five

Hamilton, Ontario’s The Dirty Nil fire back with “Fail in Time,” the latest single off their upcoming fifth album, The Lash, out this Friday, the 25th, via Dine Alone Records. “Fail in Time” is a perfect example of The Lash’s stripped-down, black-and-white approach: raw, loud, and refreshingly bleak. Be sure to enjoy the full album this weekend after it’s released, but check out the new single here.
Four

Edmonton-based pop-folk artist Caylie G (they/she) has released their new single “Brenda Heather Kelly,” a biting, glitter-drenched anthem for anyone who’s ever ghosted a party via fake phone call. Out now, the track sets the stage for Caylie’s upcoming third EP, slated for release in September 2025. Check it out here.
Three

Cowessess First Nation singer-songwriter (Uncle) Trent Agecoutay unveils his latest single, “The Devil,” a hypnotic and emotionally rich track that captures the haunting beauty of forbidden connection. Based in Calgary, Alberta, and raised in Red Deer, Agecoutay once again draws from his deep storytelling roots to deliver a song that echoes long after the final note. Be sure to check out the lyric video here.
Two

Recently, Big Wreck, the Canadian rock powerhouse, announced their highly anticipated new album The Rest of the Story, set for release on October 24, 2025, via Sonic Unyon Records. Recorded at Noble Street Studios, the album was written, composed, and co-produced by frontman Ian Thornley, alongside acclaimed producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones, Evanescence, Alice in Chains). Be sure to check out the full article here.
One

Emerging indie-pop artist Julian Daniel, hailing from Maple, Ontario, and now splitting his time between Toronto and LA, returns with “7:11,” a shimmering new single that captures the electricity of late-night encounters and the soft glow of possibility. Number one on my list this week, you should definitely check it out here.
