The worlds of hip-hop, dub, and soul collide in mesmerizing fashion on Odario’s latest single, The Situation—a deep, hypnotic groove that brings together UK dub pioneer Mad Professor and Canadian soul singer Yolanda Sargeant. This genre-blurring track, recorded at Mad Professor’s legendary Ariwa Studios in South London, is a lush blend of analog warmth, beat poetry, and sonic innovation. Five

Edmonton-based country-Americana artist Tommy Charles is set to release his new single, “Love Train,” on February 28th.

Blending 70s’70s disco-soul with vintage country, the track showcases Tommy’s signature crooning vocals. Nominated for Horizon Male Artist and Album of the Year at the 2025 Country Music Alberta Awards, Tommy continues to shine with his unique sound and dynamic live performances across Canada and Texas. Have a listen to Tommy’s new single plus we’ve got an interview within our article right here.

Four

Amanda Jordan’s Still Standing is more than just a collection of songs—it’s a bold declaration of resilience and self-discovery. Produced primarily in Nashville by Joël Bruyère, the six-track album follows the success of five standout singles, including the SiriusXM Top 5 hit “You Don’t Wanna Know” and “Tonight I Am,” which earned her CMT’s Next Up Now Artist for July 2024. Now, with the full story arc laid bare, Still Standing dives deep into the raw emotions of heartbreak, betrayal, and ultimately, empowerment. You can hear her latest album on all streaming platforms or in this article.

Three

Ollee Owens isn’t just singing the blues—she’s living and breathing them with a conviction that cuts deep. The Calgary-based blues and Americana artist unveils a stunning new music video for her latest single, Nowhere to Hide”, an anthem of resilience that perfectly encapsulates the raw emotion and defiant hope that define her sound. Two

If there’s one thing Gerry Jack Macks refuses to do, it’s follow the rules. The blues-roots-swing-folk-country-rocker has long defied genre conventions, and his latest release, “Beautiful Noise,” is no exception. A fresh and vibrant reimagining of the Neil Diamond classic, the track breathes new life into the song with a roots/Americana feel and a Latin beat, featuring the powerhouse drumming of Sara Varro. Find Jerry’s new single across all streaming platforms now, but you can also hear it in this article.

One

Post-punk meets prog-rock on Slightest Clue‘s latest single, “Car Crash Dialect”—a frenetic, heavy-hitting track that blends unpredictable song structures with raw emotional storytelling. Rooted in jagged riffs and dynamic shifts, the song captures a volatile moment of confrontation and self-liberation. Taking inspiration from bands like Lifeguard and Shame, guitarist and vocalist Mac sought to merge chaotic post-punk energy with heavier, anthemic choruses.
