Last night, Ukrainian metal band Jinjer played a packed MTelus!
Japanese nu metal band Hanabie opened the evening, with a set in their delightfully harajuku-core style, mixing kawaii outfits with guttural vocals and hard-hitting riffs! It was quite a sight to see, and something unique we loved witnessing!
Up next, Jinjer arrived onstage to a thunder of applause! Since their last MTelus show about a year ago, the four-piece has still been going strong! Lead singer Tatiana Shmayluk once again stole the show, with her captivating energy and effortless vocals! From opening track Just Another all through epic finale Vortex, the show was a whirlwind of hard-hitting metal, with intense mosh pits and crowd surfers, of course!
